HELICAL HIGHRISE
fine art 2015 Supplied with two 8x4 ft sheets of cardboard, the challenge was to create a tower, the taller the better, that was able to support a terracotta brick. I took the challenge to heart and built a tower that surpassed the ceiling at some 20 odd feet. The tower is built of cardboard triangular prisms of diminishing size with interlocking slits. This leads to a forced prospective and the illusion that the tower is even taller than it is.
